Ok, so even though we don't sell shoes on Missy J's Handbags and Jewelry, I have what some might call a shoe obsession. So, not only am I providing you with great handbags and jewelry, I am also giving you the scoop on amazingly adorable shoes and where to get them. I completely understand that the perfect outfit doesn't end with the perfect handbag and the perfect jewelry, but I'm still here for you to point you in the right direction. So, here is my new favorite pair of shoes, Chinese Laundry - Jayze to lust over (or at least until I find the next ones). They are available at Chinese Laundry, which, if you haven't checked out, you really need to. Their stuff is adorable, and worn by celebrities (but affordable for the rest of us).

Well, the beading bug has hit, and I'm completely hooked. Inspired by all of the beautiful jewelry I have seen while looking for products for Missy J's, I decided to start creating some of my own. I will be introducing more pieces as I get them finished and photographed, and I am so excited to share with you the outcome of my creativity and handiwork. Oh my goodness!!

Has it really been that long since I posted? A little bit of sickness thrown in with the end of the school year for me (yay, summer vacation, sometimes I love being a teacher) and I'm completely thrown out of whack. Some exciting things going on here at Missy J's though, I'll give you a quick preview and write more later (because its late, and I really should be in bed). We here at Missy J's (and when I say we, I really mean just me) have started making jewelry. I have always thought that it would be fun, and was jelous of all those people who could acually make things out of the pretty beads at Hobby Lobby. I decided to give it a shot, and lo and behold, I love it. It looks intimidating, but really isn't that hard. It just takes time and practice (ha, cause I'm oozing with extra free time, aren't I?). It's very fun and a creative outlet. Anyhow, I hope to debut the Missy J's line of jewelry soon, but for now I'm just wearing everything I make.
